Hello, I am Nathalie

Passionate about helping you explore and discover ways to rest, unwind, feel calm and happy.

Because I know it can feel scary to change your life and you might be wondering if you are worth it. You find yourself struggling to make it happen. Having doubts whether you have the time and energy to figure out what you want to do differently. 

You get caught up in everyday life, so much is happening, your to-do list keeps growing and the kids, your boss, family and friends are calling on you.

If you’re not careful, you’ll just get a headache from pondering what initially started out as a beautiful vision of the future.

Having worked as a family therapist, behavioral scientist and school psychologist for more than 20 years, I know how difficult and important it can be, not only to help others, try to be a “good” mother, sister, daughter and friend, but also to take good care of yourself and follow your own desires and needs.

If there is anything I’ve learned after helping many rediscovering their strength, needs and desires, it’s that we can do this.

Making a change

In my mid-30s, after working for years in (mental) health care and education, experiencing high work pressure and seeying a lot of pain, overwhelm and sadness, I decided to take a path to find more ease, calm and rest.

Explore more ways to feel calm and restful. Rediscover the positive, lighter side of life, which I knew was still there, but saw far too little. To listen to my heart desires and my life purpose for the new season of my life I was entering.

I started to go in nature more often, embraced my creativity and started painting and drawing again. Now my favorite moments are making long walks in a forest or at the coast and when I can let my brush move to the sounds and rhythm of the music, which is always on in the background.

Mindful living, nature and creativity have become the foundation of my business that is based in the Netherlands. As an mentor, educator and guide I use it to increase your self-care and well-being combining evidence-based methods with creativity and listening to your heart.

Mindful living

Consciously noticing your surroundings and yourself so that you can live more in the present moment. Feeling, noticing and ‘being’ first and then thinking about what a possible next step might be.
