Creativity, mindfulness, self-care and nature are at the heart of my paintings and courses. They help in finding calm and with personal growth, self-development and recovery.

In our hectic world, where being busy is often glorified, I understand how easy it is to lose yourself in responsibilities. My mission is to help you restore balance by bringing peace and creativity into your life amidst the daily chaos.

I do this work with all my heart and soul. It feels like an honor to walk beside you on your journey, to bring calming paintings into your life and to illuminate your path. Because believe me

A conscious step off the well-traveled path

Although creativity has played an important role in my life since childhood, I chose a path toward helping and guiding children, youth and adults. After more than 20 years in education and mental health care, I knew that while it is valuable work to empower people, it also asked a lot of me.

About 10 years ago, when I was in my mid-30s, I decided to try a different path. A path to find more peace, calm and quiet. I found this in mindfulness, nature and by embracing my creativity again. I started painting and drawing again. Now my favorite moments are moving my brush on the canvas to the sounds and rhythm of the music that is always on in the background. Alternating with taking long walks in a forest or at the seaside.

The journey brought me an unexpected insight

The paintings, the courses, that what I now bring into the world gives people what they need in a different way. I am still helping people now. I bring an oasis of peace and serenity with my paintings and help people step by step get closer to themselves and live a naturally harmonious life with my courses and guidance.

A different path, but still bringing light into the lives of others with a lot of (self) compassion.

Visual artist
My paintings are a combination of abstract and realistic art inspired by the flow of life and nature, stories or poems. With a touch of intuitive painting guided by music that is always on in the background.

I took many art courses, workshops and mentoring focused on painting, illustration and surface pattern design. And I am certified in Art based learning from ArtEZ University of the Arts and member of NABK

Educator and mentor
I have worked 20+ years in (mental) health care and education with children, adolescents and adults as a behavioral scientist, family therapist and schoolpsychologist. And I am a certified yoga teacher and YogaNidra / EcoNidra facilitator.

Fun Facts

about me

No coffee please! Only tea. But I do LOVE the smell of it. Especially freshly ground coffee beans. It brings me right back to calm sunday mornings with the family.

In love with the color Pink. Don’t know why, just in love with it!

Nature is a big part of my life and in what I offer. But I don’t appreciate the insects, especially spiders, in my home. I kindly ask my husband to bring them outside again!
